- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Manda Jane -- A sweet romance! : I love how unique Chautona Havig's characters are, since she never fails to write delightful, quirky, unique characters that make her stories so enjoyable. I loved getting to know Cara and Jonathan through this story, especially since the differences in their personalities made me think of the dynamics of my own marriage, though my husband is not near as quiet. Jonathan's children and the other characters in this story are delightful as well! I appreciated that the focus of this story is to keep a romance pre-marriage pure. - 2.0 out of 5 stars from An Open Book Family -- Left Me Disappointed and Confused : I'm all for sexual abstinence outside of marriage, and I could even buy the unwritten 'no touch' rules this couple set for the premise of the book even if I think it unnecessary in real life. Maybe I could buy their phenomenal ability to communicate complicated ideas without speaking for the sake of the premise as well if I could follow their unspoken conversations. The little girl loves her at first sight, and ensures that her daddy, Jonathan, a widower, meets Cara. For them, too, it is love at first sight. Jonathan, unfortunately, lives a thousand miles away, but while he is in Rockland for a week he and Cara see each other several times a day. ( Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2016 )
